The Club’s AGM: Canterbury Tennis Club Inc

Due to the uncertain nature of our Covid 19 restrictions and the need to still practice social distancing the club’s committee has decided that this year’s AGM will be held on-line. The club has subscribed to Zoom and will use this tool to conduct the AGM.
So there will be no light supper provided this year however you are welcome to supply this yourself and partake in a drink. No need to share!
Further details will be provided in due course however potential AGM attendees should familiarize themselves with Zoom prior to the meeting. Please contact the club via e-mail if you have any questions on Zoom.
The year ahead promises to be particularly rewarding for the committee and the club as we emerge from lock-down, get back to competitive and social tennis and welcome the new clubhouse.
All roles on the committee are up for re-election so there are excellent opportunities to utilise your unique skills and contribute to our tennis community. Roles we are, in particular, seeking to fill are:
Maintenance Team member – assist the Maintenance Officer on court, grounds and clubhouse maintenance activities
Events CoordinationTeam – ideally a small team of members who , with committee support will run events through the year such as junior/senior club championships, family tennis days, Melbourne Cup Day or Weekend event, Grand Final Day or Parade Day event, Aussie Open event(s)
Communications Team – small group to manage the club’s social media (Facebook, Newsletter, Web site)
