Canterbury Tennis Club had a sensational day in staging its 2014 Club Championships on Saturday 4 October 2014 – the only downside was too many entrants for the number of courts available! The weather was brilliant sunshine all day, and a total of over 36 members participated.

Sue Constance, our wonderful Night Convenor, was made a Life Member in recognition of her efforts for the club over many years, and in particular for her tireless work in managing the flourishing night tennis competition since its inception 16 years ago.

Some great news! Canterbury Tennis Club Life Member, Kevin Bolton, has been awarded the Order of Australia Medal in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for his services to tennis, particularly in the fields of administration and umpiring.
