Entries are now open for the Canterbury Doubles Club Championships.
All members are welcome to enter and come watch the finals!
Entries close Sunday, 1st of March.
Event Dates:
– Afternoon of Sunday 15th March
– Evening of Saturday 21st March
– Afternoon of Sunday 22nd March
Events offered this year are:
– 12&U Doubles (Green Ball)
– 16&U Boys, Girls & Mixed Doubles
– A-Grade Mens, Womens & Mixed Doubles
– B-Grade Men’s, Women’s & Mixed Doubles
The Family Doubles that was trialled last year and then run as a separate event in October, is planned to be offered again in October 2026.
Eligibility
– All players wanting to enter an age event must meet the age criteria as of 15th March.
– If you have any questions please email the club and someone will respond to your query asap.
Special Information:
1. This is a no-cost event and, in addition, the club will provide a BBQ on the Finals Day.
2. If you don’t have a partner, please write ‘Partner Required’ in the space for your partner’s name and your events team will do their best to find a partner for you.
3. All players are requested to arrive 15 min before their scheduled match time so that the volunteers helping on the day can be confident that the next matches can be played.
4. All matches will be scheduled and anyone who can’t attend at that time will forfeit their match. If you can’t play, your volunteer organisers would appreciate a quick email (canterburytc@gmail.com) so that they can manage the schedule as well as possible. Remember, if you can’t play, 3 other players are affected and need to be informed.
5. Any event may be cancelled if insufficient entries are received.
6. Only 1 player needs to enter and provide their partner’s name. There is no need for the partner to enter separately.
